ER Terms of Service — Draft Framework
Adult service
Beyond ER is intended for adults age 18 and older.
Non-clinical scope
Beyond ER is intended to provide non-clinical human support, encouragement, guided listening, realignment, accountability, resource navigation, and optional faith support. ER is not psychotherapy, diagnosis, medical treatment, medication advice, or emergency/crisis response.
Participant decisions
ER Support Specialists may help participants explore options and clarify next steps, but participants remain responsible for their own decisions and actions.
Emergency and professional resources
ER may direct participants to licensed, medical, crisis, emergency, legal, community, or other professional resources when a request falls outside the intended scope.
Recording
Recorded Sessions are intended to require affirmative recording/transcription consent. Final consent language and applicable state-law review must be completed before launch.
Payments
Fixed scheduled pricing or a metered Talk Now rate should be shown before support begins. Metered support is intended to use a stated per-minute rate, minimum billable period, billing increment, initial authorization cap, and affirmative extension authorization.
Cancellation
Proposed scheduled policy: free cancellation/reschedule 12+ hours before appointment; under 12 hours may carry a 50% fee; no-show may carry the full session fee; ER/provider cancellations should receive refund or free reschedule; exceptional hardship/emergency remains subject to administrative discretion. Final language requires counsel review.
Memberships
Membership price, included benefits, renewal, cancellation, credit expiration, and refund terms must be conspicuously disclosed before enrollment.
Finalization
This page is intentionally marked non-effective until legal review, entity details, governing-law terms, dispute terms, notices, and final version controls are completed.
