ER Privacy Notice — Draft
Beyond ER is designed around data minimization. We intend to collect only information reasonably needed to provide access, support routing, payment, safety operations, resource navigation, service quality, and legal/compliance functions.
Information categories
Potential categories include identity/contact information, adult eligibility, support preferences, session metadata, brief session documentation, recording/transcription where affirmatively consented, resource referrals, safety-event information where necessary, billing/payment tokens and transaction data, membership data, and Access Assistance records.
Sensitive support information
ER sensitive flows should not carry ordinary advertising or retargeting pixels designed to share participant support data with advertising platforms. Marketing analytics and participant support information are intended to remain separated.
Recording and transcription
Recording/transcription is intended to require session-specific affirmative consent. Declining recording should not automatically prevent ordinary ER support when a non-recorded pathway is operationally available.
Artificial intelligence
Approved AI systems may assist with administrative routing, transcript summarization, documentation drafting, resource categorization, and possible quality-review flags. AI is not intended to autonomously diagnose participants or make final emergency/safety decisions.
Outside resources
ER generally provides resource information to the participant rather than automatically sharing participant information with an outside provider. A warm handoff should use explicit authorization or another appropriate legal basis.
Retention
ER intends to maintain a written retention schedule with shorter retention for raw recordings/transcripts than for required billing, consent, safety, or legal records. Final periods remain subject to counsel review and system configuration.
Questions and rights
Final contact information and applicable privacy-request mechanisms will be inserted before launch.
